Join Our New Safety and Security Ministry!

Our parish family at St. Francis de Sales is forming a Safety and Security Ministry, and we’re inviting parishioners to be part of it!

At the request of Fr. Zacharie, our pastor and Dean of the Fayetteville Deanery, Sheriff Chris Germaine will be leading this important new ministry to help keep our parish community safe, welcoming, and well-prepared for any situation.

This ministry isn’t just about responding to rare threats — it’s about caring for one another and being ready for all kinds of situations, such as:

• Medical emergencies during Mass or parish events

• Safety and security of parish property and vehicles

• Fire safety and weather-related emergencies

• Emotional or mental distress among parishioners or visitors

• Lost children or missing items

• Any situation that calls for a calm and compassionate response

You don’t need to be a first responder or safety professional to join — just someone with a caring heart and a desire to help. Parishioners with experience in healthcare, emergency response, safety, counseling, or simply a willingness to serve are encouraged to take part.
