Welcome to Our Parish • Our People (OPOP), a parish-wide initiative of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Parish designed to strengthen our parish family through Prayer, Participation, Service, and Provision.

OPOP is more than a program. It is an invitation for every parishioner to discover a deeper connection to our parish, to become more involved in parish life, and to help build a vibrant Catholic community for future generations.

Because a parish is more than a building.

A parish is its people.

And together, we are called to worship, serve, and give as one family in Christ.

Our Vision

At St. Francis de Sales, we believe every parishioner has a unique role in the life of our parish.

Through OPOP, we seek to:

• Strengthen our sense of parish family

• Increase participation in parish ministries and activities

• Foster a spirit of stewardship and service

• Welcome new parishioners and visitors

• Encourage faith formation and discipleship

• Build a stronger and more sustainable parish community

Our goal is simple:

To help every parishioner find a place to belong, a way to serve, and an opportunity to grow in faith.

The Four Pillars of OPOP

Prayer

Prayer is the foundation of everything we do.

We encourage every parishioner to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ through personal prayer, the sacraments, Eucharistic worship, and faithful participation in the liturgical life of the Church.

Challenge: Dedicate one hour each week to prayer.

Participation

A thriving parish depends on active participation.

Whether through Mass attendance, parish events, faith formation, or ministry involvement, every parishioner strengthens our community by being present and engaged.

Challenge: Become active in at least one aspect of parish life.

Service

God has blessed each of us with gifts and talents meant to be shared.

Through service, we put our faith into action and become instruments of Christ's love for others.

Challenge: Dedicate one hour each week to serving others.

Provision

Everything we have comes from God.

Provision calls us to support the mission of our parish through the responsible sharing of our time, talent, and treasure.

Your generosity helps sustain worship, faith formation, outreach ministries, parish facilities, and the many programs that serve our community.

Challenge: Prayerfully consider offering the equivalent of one hour's wage each week in support of our parish mission.
