What a Day!
Weeks of preparation led up to this special day, filled with various meaningful activities. A Zoom novena, thoughtfully led by Mr. Winston Arokiasammy and his family, brought together an average of 12 participants daily. Parishioners prayed fervently for the priests of our diocese, including special intentions for our beloved pastor, Fr. Zacharie.
Adding to the excitement, the Knights of Columbus organized a raffle with 10 fortunate winners receiving a unique book chronicling the birth, growth, and life of our diocese. Tickets were priced at $5, and the drawing took place immediately following the 11:30 AM Mass on November 17th.
The book Treasures of Raleigh Diocese can be purchased directly from the diocesan website.
The celebrations reached their peak during the 11:30 AM high Mass, held outdoors on the parish lawns. It was a beautiful sight, with parishioners filling the expansive space between the sanctuary and the social hall.
After each of the three Masses, the community gathered in the social hall to enjoy lively conversations, delicious snacks, and refreshing drinks. The day was truly a memorable celebration of faith and fellowship!
Special thanks to Dr. P Ebri who chaired the preparatory committee, the Knights of Columbus, The Social commission and all our kind-hearted tireless volunteers who helped make this occasion a great success.
